Thank you briseis for the spoiler. Like everyone said, so sad that SOTD finally at the last chapter. I'll truly miss General Wei Wuji & XiaoYue. I wish Eddie & LSS will have another reunion too. But looks like the chance is low.

Eventhough Eddie is now more towards movie actor. I'm really thankful that he took SOTD role 2/3 yrs ago. Without SOTD & WWJ, I won't noticed Eddie Peng's journey as actor. I'm now really anticipating his 2 new movies. Wish I could meet everyone in this thread again somewhere. Hopefully this thread still alive eventhough SOTD ended. Yes super sad, I was chatting with my friend, she told me there is 4 more episode left. I thought there are 3É Oh man my key board is doing that stupid éééé again, anyways. Yes Rise of the legend has surpass 100 mil on box office and its like the third day out! So it looks like its going pretty smooth for EP! Happy for him! He worked so hard! LOL!!! I wish I will meet you all somewhere again in the future. I'm so sad that I probably won't see Eddie in series much anymore. It has been very fun hanging out in this forum with you all. Totally agree with you that SOTD has helped Eddie made his name notice!

I'm along with you all on not knowing what I will do next when SOTD end. I'm not sure if I like the ending or not. I'm happy that WJ and XY reunite with their child but I hate how his family turned against him and even wanted him dead for the sake of power. WHY WHY WJ?????? WHY DID YOU FALL FOR THE TRAP AND SHOT LI JI? LI JI WHY ARE YOU SO STUPID AND FOUGHT WITH THE PERSON DRESSED LIKE XY? He should be smarter than that. These 2 generals are two of the most intelligent individuals of the entire dynasty and their legacy ended like nothing.

However, I can not imagine how the future would be for WJ and XY if they stay. The secret (switching the babies) must be kept forever and their real son will never know that he's their son. They will never be able to love him fully and Tan'er will never be love by them as they would love their own son since XY will feel guilty for not being able to lover her real son. The future will be a disaster for 4 of them. So I guess faking WJ's death is the only way out.

Hum? I also love this series but maybe people are comparing it to BBJX which does not make sense to me why they would do so. Also, I don't think they promoted SOTD much and the long wait probably contributed?

I hear that SOTD will be Dub in Korean this time.. and hear that the Book of SOTD or Da Mo Yao is a sold out in Korean... I think that SOTD will be a success... hopefully with this success.. Tangren will try to have LSS and Eddie to act together again...
LSS is Tangren top actress, and Eddie do like Tangren production.. he been in Tangren since he first started acting, I believe that this is his 4th or 5th series with Tangren production..

You know, about this whole "SOTD is not successfull enough" business: It's really difficult to compare SOTD with BBJX popularity, ratings are exremely subjective, there are many things you have to take into the account and there is no logic in them whatsoever,. IT's like comparing the ratings of kdramas: For instance, Moon That Embraces the Sun was close the 50% mark whereas Secret Garden or You WHo Came From the Stars were close the 30% - the last two dramas were far better quality-wise but there is still the 20% difference. It's not because the latter two would be less popular because the internet buzz had been huge for all three dramas.

I think that there is a small group of haters and biased viewers who spread these rumours without submitting facts in order to bash the show. As @ILoveMimiLo has already mentioned several times the show is objectively extremely popular on streaming sites and search engines as are the actors, however, the TV ratings are strong too and have been increasing with each episode, even re-runs score high ratings. PLus the number of the followers at SOTD Weibo account is one of the highest amongst cdramas, both airing and completed. I find that SOTD is doing extremely well even with all the adversity and delays and changes it has to face because let'S face it all the things that happened to this show border on illegal discrimination and censorship; BBJX didn't have to wait almost 3 years to be allowed to get an airing slot, nor did Lan Ling Wang and that show was even bigger slap in the history face than Da Mo Yao could ever been. So don't feel down because of some false information, just google translate this baidu thread which has been documenting SOFD ratings and popularity stats since the first episode :-). This is the truth, the ultimate proof and the hard facts and those don't lie ;-)
