    News on sina: http://2012.qq.com/a/20120730/001999.htm

    This is funny

    With her outstanding performance in the olympic games, Ye Shi Wen is described as: She was surged with inner energy like Linghu Chong and is inevitably being suspected.

    叶诗文像令狐冲 内力暴涨难免被疑

    So far clean. In fact it seems every olympic winner is tested. 1 sore loser coach commented and poor girl's effort being questioned. Maybe there are doping, every athlete I believe has that, just a matter can you catch. If you can't, so just shut up.

    There are news in all major medias that the boardcast of Xuanyuanjian might be stopped by the boardcasting authority. If this is true, Swordsman may not be allowed to air on Hunan TV because it is a 翻拍剧 (a new version of an old adaption)!

    @凤凰娱乐:#要闻#【曝广电总局将发"限游令"《轩辕剑》恐停播】http://t.cn/zWNPpaD @电视剧轩辕剑之天之痕 可谓一路坎坷,在播出前几小时被广电总局叫停,又因周播剧模式招来议论.如今又广电总局将推出"限游令", 即规定宫斗剧、家斗剧、翻拍剧、游戏以及网络小说改编题材均不得在卫视荧屏播出.《轩辕剑》恐 遭"腰斩"

    I don't get it. Is China trying to kill their own filming industry? Why can't they show Swordsman? It is an adaptation of a fictional book. Is there a rule against adaptation?

    Wondering if such bias applies to the movie industry...isn't the upcoming "The Monkey King" a kinda "remake" of Journey To The West?

    I don't understand. They have a rule against time travelling stories, they have a rule against historical depiction that is not in accordance to the approved historical text, they have a rule against costume series in general AND now there is a rule against remakes? When did that come about? Is China trying to self destruct? Don't they know one of their biggest moneymakers is making tv series people want to watch? If YZ changes the story 360 degrees, it ain't a remake anymore isn't it?

    I read this in another forum;

    ":Rumoured that SARFT is about to announce a new guideline:
    广电总局将推出"限游令",即规定宫斗剧、家斗剧、翻拍剧、游戏以及网络小说改编题材均不得在 卫视荧屏播出 .《轩辕剑》恐遭"腰斩"

    palace dramas, family dramas, adaptions and series based on internet novels or games are not to be broadcast on national channels.

    If this does come about, series like Gong 3 and DMY will not be able to be broadcast on national TV. XYS finishes airing on the 25th, and it is rumoured that SARFT will enforce this before XYS finishes airing. "

    Can someone explain what it is like for China TV channels? What is national TV and if can't broadcast there and so where to broadcast?

    And does this mean you can still film such a series but you can't broadcast it on national TV? So does it mean cable TV?

    I think national TV means channels which are broadcasted on a nation-wide basis. Local channels should be excluded. But this sounds stupid. Is that meant production companies must sign up with various local channels in the future? Also, I don't know whether this rule will apply to internet broadcast such as youku as well....

    Haha, hence why I said OVERALL. I definitely have to agree that Xu Qing fits the RYY role so much better than YSS.
