Apparently fans saw these two on the set filming with LSS, but unsure of their roles. And also, Jiang Jinful will be playing Sun Yizhou's younger brother (rumored)...lol

^^Hard for me to choose ATM. I have Fourth Prince reuniting with Zhang Xiao on one side and a fresh pairing with Sun Yizhou (his acting was great in 刷新3+7之骗不了) on the other. Will have to wait for the trailer before deciding.

Jiang Jin Fu in BBJQ? Well, that took me by surprise. He's in a new movie with Bai Bai He and Eddie Peng (分手合约) as well.

Seriously? Tang Ren wants to pit Sun Yi Zhou against Nicky Wu? I really don't see that as fair competition in terms of looks, fame status and acting. Maybe if it was any of Wallace Huo, Wallace Chung, Hu Ge or even Yan Kuan against Nicky Wu for LSS, it may be more exciting. I was torn between 4th & 8th in BBJX, but I don't feel dilemma choosing between Nicky and Sun Yizhou.

I'll tag along for this series but keeping my expectations down. I do hope that TR surprises me with the finished product but I don't feel any excitement at the current storyline or cast changes.

I think it's great that they are mixing in some new people with the original cast. I like the way TR introduces new/lesser known actors in their productions. I had never heard of Jiang Jin Fu before XYJ, but he surprised me as the second male lead.

I'm going to root for Sun Yizhou since I'm not a Nicky Wu fan (and was so hoping LSS would end up with Kevin in BBJX). Sun Yizhou looks good in the poster! Sean Chen was decent in 落跑甜心 (can't say the same for the female lead though), but looks a bit young to be LSS's ex-bf though.

Hmmm. It is truth. I actually quite like Nicky and his performance and charisma from BBJX is hard to surpass. I will have to expect a lot from any actor that will go against Nicky as a formidable opponent. Don't get me wrong, I don't think the other guy is ugly or a bad actor, I just am really really into Nicky and it is hard for me divert my allegiance . It depends on how the story pans out but I still feel like I will be shipping another LSS-Nicky Pairing.

Those are some nice posters. But why are they still using the palace as a backdrop? I hope that means they'll still incorporate it into the story somehow even without time travel. I'm also keeping low expectations since the original author did not write this story...

I didn't care for Nicky, so I wanted the 2nd male lead to be at least one of the guy you've listed so I can enjoy LSS's pairing with the 2nd male lead just as I did with Kevin. So there, I've said it...LOL. Nothing wrong with Sun Yizhou of course, I can't judge him for his acting because I haven't seen him act...but lookwise, he's just "okay" IMO.

Also, I've read in other forum that it's Jiang Jinful that's 2nd male lead? Hmmmmmmm....

It just struck me how bizarre it is that Lu Zi Qiao from iPartment (Sun Yi Zhou) and a 2010 Superboy (Chen Xiang) are entering the BBJX universe. I did completely fall in love with SYZ's character in iPartment, haha. But even with the new actors, I'll still probably be shipping LSS with characters left and right. She's proven great chemistry with 4th, 10th, and JJF already. How perfect would this cast be if YH could have joined, lol.

At least Ye Zu Xin (10th) is back. He looks so much better in modern clothing.

Sun Yizhou - Never seen him before but he seems like a pretty nice guy from the short clips I saw of him on youtube. Any new guy trying to vie for RuoXi will have a tough climb since LongShi has so many shippers. I wish him luck and hope he can impress us like Lin Gen Xin did.

Chen Xiang - Looks very Korean, especially his eyes.

Where are the other girls? Hehehe... LSS is hogging all the good looking guys again.

Thanks for the news guys! Been waiting forever for some details about the sequel, which looks like it won't be a sequel at all. I guess a modern day remake of BBJX is better than nothing. I like LSS & Nicky back together. Hope YH will be back as well. Too bad Kevin is out. The expectations are super high so I hope Tangren won't let us down.

i don't think YH will be going back as he is also co-starring w/ kevin in another show.

It's the official synopsis that Tangren admitted to SARFT for review. There might be some changes when they actually start filming
