踏车is an agricultural machine with full name龙骨水车 dragon bone waterlift, two wheels connected by chain(dragon bone), while one peddle the upper wheel to activate the lower wheel.

You may get a better appreciation of Wang and his 7 disciples through this book: Seven Taoist Masters: A Folk Novel of China by Eva Wong - https://www.amazon.com/Seven-Taoist-.../dp/1590301765. It certainly helped me appreciate the Condor series in a different light.

This Tung Pei Sun - such exquisite artwork. I particularly liked the illustrations of the heroes of Red Flower Society. (I think he is behind the TVB's, starring Adam Cheng, adaption of The Book and the Sword). And those sleeping beauties ...!!

I'm somewhat enchanted by 李一桐, deciding whether I prefer her portrayal of 黃蓉 the most (how accurate was she directed) ? Looking into what else (less animated, modern setting) she has acted in…

And you know, 翁美玲's fate was sad—which I understood even as a child. Now that I'm older, should I do more to help entertainment-industry folks (especially those I value) ? Problem is I'm not the fan/worshipper type. So, there's work to do if my voice can be heard, reaching the people I esteem.

I may have to retrain to be a professional journalist, critic… director, producer.

It may be good how actresses have always interested me into the-story. Because actresses are still of-this-world, whereas characters in anime, manga, computer-games… are fantastical, otherworldly.

I remember in Cantonese, 畫公仔唔使畫出腸。Meaning, "when drawing figuratively, there's no need to draw intestines too."

But if you must know, in other words, I realised that listing characters alongside foxs' translation is suitable for someone other than me.

Because, gradually, I've taken to the importance of knowing the exact meaning of Chinese names. Have you looked into the meaning behind 寇仲, 徐子陵, 祝玉妍, 婠婠？

Say, I trust LuDongBin knows what each word in Zhou Botong means. Do many readers understand the significance of 伯通？

And since getting onto the road of learning Chinese, it's leading me away from 大唐。道不同不相為謀。
