IMO, Why use the word "Paragon", why don't just use the word Great Perfection. "Great Perfection" is proper noun right. Even by googling it, wiki can give the definition. Paragon sound so alien to me.

lol linley already a saint a long time ago... so no water or fire saint (only divine clone represent in which element they train in, linley now only need to gather mageforce which his talent in fire is average at best and some insight in the profound mysteries and how to utilize them.....)
in water element he will directly go to god level power after baptism.....
training in fire elemement in hell if i recall correctly

A Paragon is a person viewed as a perfect/model example, therefore a high god paragon makes sense to me, Great Perfection just sounds clunky and unnatural:

Yeah between the two I much prefer Paragon.

one thing i am a little confused is does Linley ever become a paragon. i mean fuse all the mysteries in an element/elements or does he just get the soul mutation, which makes him about as powerful as a paragon. It is never completely clear from the spoilers. Some say he does become one some say he doesn't. And some say after he gets the mutation he becomes a paragon

No he doesn't become one. When his souls mutate, the strength is comparable to a Paragon.
Even his strongest element the earth is lacking one law.

the story, from GT, is a bit difficult to understand. I personally find it not so interesting - maybe because Linley appears to be rather weak compared to the numerous gods there). I find that it is only in Book 15 that things start to get interesting.In Book 14, it describes how the 3 joined the black dragon tribe (for protection). There are a couple of arcs but the main storyline is that the 3 needed to qualify to take on missions (with pay, like escort services of ancient China). They wanted to use this qualification to be able to take up a mission and travel towards the 4 divine beasts continent. To qualify, they had to pass certain assessment (together with a bunch of other warriors) and get a 'badge'. (The assessment: attacking a castle and each getting a "moon ring" in a castle protected by powerful warriors) It is also the time that the 3 became filthy rich . Also Linley broke into God (middle) stage, and further comprehend his law...Book ends with the 3 taking up a mission.Sorry - can't give more details - I skimmed the chapters mostly

can some1 enlightent me about Olivier soul mutation this has been on my mind for a few days??? olivier reached the soul mutation during saint level but how come?? he is just a saint and obviously only 1 soul and not yet develop the the divine clone their element utilize , so how...??? so my question is back to linley, if other than the 4 divine clone of linley, and what if the original body still training in the other element and gain even just a bit insight into that element??? than will linley have 5 or more soul mutation???

Book 15, IIRC[you'll know it as soon as you see the word "Amethyst" when the 3 bump into Olivier in hell. For the 3, it was a 'sightseeing' trip ]

from what I understand the reason Olivier manage to do that is during the fight with heidson where he almost died and went to coma for some months making his soul mutate and be able to fuse different elemental laws.. and if i am right linley will also experience this at near the ending making him be able to fuse his 4 clones

P.S. it doesnt matter if he has 1 soul or more the soul mutation allows him be able to fuse different laws...

While both Linley and Olivier are geniuses, Linley focuses on law development whereas (I think) Olivier was relying more on strength. He seems rather pitiful in the infernal realm. It is this time that Linley leaves him far behind...the only nice thing I can say about Olivier is that he was not revealed to be bitter about Linley being ahead...Blue Fire, Linley and Olivier - geniuses. Only the first 2 made it. Linley made the furthest progress...

Actually, in terms of who's better at laws. Leylin(Bluefire) is better than Linley. Leylin becomes Paragon while Linley doesn't. Having your soul mutates and survived it requires luck.

Surviving a severe soul injury has a chance for triggerring a soul mutation (a dealdly occurrence in itself 9 times out of 10 at least ) and surviving that allow to fuse the various elemental laws/ edict you control at that point, regardless of whether one's in a deity yet ( Olivier wasn't) or whether all the souls have to undergo the mutatikn trial together ( Linley's fire clone was safe at home and would have survived if the mutation failed and killed the other 3, but he was still able to merge fire and other laws at the end.

but the author never explained what would happen if one was to train in a new law (or merge the original body with a different type of divine spark, would that give 1 extra type of fusion (and have the power increased x10...). Imagine Linley using his soul shaped soul to train in destruction and merge that to bring out the destructive sides of his elemental laws....
