Thanks, wuxiarocks! Glad to see Elvis Han in another wuxia/fantasy series! But judging from the trailer, the CGI leaves a lot to desire. Too bad, because Tangren did a fantastic job with Wu Xin the Monster Killer (one of the best dramas this year IMO) . By the way, I thought I saw Han Dong in the trailer. Is it really him?

I agree the CGI is poor, but these are early cuts. The series has just been in production recently, and I think they're still filming. They have a lot of post production time, so hopefully they'll improve.

And yes that is Han Dong. He's listed as part of the cast.

Well, it appears this series wrap production already. As Gu Li Na Zha also wrap Legend of Green Hill Fox, which star Jiang Jin Fu as the lead. Busy times for them. His Legend of Qin is also in post production. And it seems the two lead actress from Wuxin the Monster Killer is in Legend of Green Hill Fox as well. (Which I'm looking forward to right next to CP5 and Legend of Qin)

How these production/actors get so much done within such a short time boggles my mind.

2016 needs to hurry.

Also, I haven't seen Wuxin yet, but I love the opening and ending theme song. It's lovely. I need to find time to start on that. I haven't even got to Nirvana in Fire yet. Feels like I'm missing out.

Though 5 is probably my least favorite among all 1-6, I simply hope the adaption won't change the story in the original video game too much.

I'm so looking forward for this, along with Ode of the Gallantry (heard that it would air in June, was that correct?) . I used to expect Legend of Chusen instead of this, but now I'm just affraid that they will deviate from the novel. . Actually, I'm not a fan of Chinese Paladin the series, but I like Elvis Han and wish to see him again in a periode drama .. hehehe . Unfortunately I don't really like Guli Nazha. I prefer Gina Jin ,but too bad that she isn't gonna be paired with Elvis here.

I hope the storyline will be good, unlike some other series with only romance plot along the way. And, I hope it will have english subs

To be honest, I'm not too big on CP either. As I didn't quite enjoyed the first series much. Oddly I found the third one more enjoyable. Though this one might be more interesting. The costumes looks kinda nice. And agreed, I'm not a big fan of Guli Nazha either. She always seem a bit emotionless on screen, and when she smile it seems a little force. And yes, I also prefer Gina Jin as well. I like her a lot actually. I've seen majority of her work, she's just a natural. For all it's worth, she is in here, so maybe we can enjoy her parts.

Story-wise, I don't know much either. But I share your worry where romance is concern. And for English Subs, I think it's almost a sure thing. Let's look forward to it together.

Really?? That's a good news then, thanks! I read somewhere that Chusen had an actress who would play as the mother of that character, and I went "huh??". That mother was supposed to be dead and only appeared in a short flashback (at least from what I read in the first 1/3 or 1/2 of the novel ). Plus I heard that the company producer also produced and butchered the Lost Tomb, so I got really worried. Well, it's good if they dont change much . I'm not a fan of any actresses, but I like the novel so far and want to know the real story.

I also didnt enjoy CP 1 and skipped a lot of scenes, but CP 3 was quite interesting and more enjoyable. Wallace was funny . The story was better too. That's why I have hopes that CP 5 will be enjoyable too . well at least I can watch Elvis, hahaha

The girl in the tribal outfit looks like a 14 year old,feels weird watching her pair up with the guy, he just looks like an older brother , I know those actor are not that old, maybe it's because she looks very young.

She does come off a bit like Shrek. Cute though, lol And agreed about Gina, hope we get more of her.

Edit: My quick thoughts on the first 2 ep, I like it. They're taking time with pacing, but the characters seem interesting. Hopefully things picks up as far as plot goes.
