Just another silly elementary school children question.

Why does Snoke look so much like a Shaolin monk with shaved head.

I thought the whole SW ordeal started when GL watched some Japanese Samurai flicks.

So, why did Snoke not look like this:

But, instead, his looks modeled after this:
