I was looking at some clips for ROCH 06.. and I can't helpt but feel that GYY should have got the role. I think she really got that icy stare down for XLN. I guess its her age that didn't match. but in terms of look, i think she is a formidable choice

Sugar...so you're saying that XLN should have that icy look throughout the series? I thought it was until she fell in love with YG.

Because an actress have the same emotion/expression throughtout the series isn't a good thing. Fann Wong had the icy look throughout the series. It looks if she was pissed YG as well. If XLN start showing more emotion bit by bit...then I'll give that actress props. XLN didn't have any emotions until Yang Guo arrived...so the icy should start to fade after she met him if not...we'll see a 2nd Fann Wong.

but then again, even though LYF has the right age, her looks don't quite match...seriously, she looks like a 13 years old. and acting does matter a lot. however, it shouldn't be too difficult to act out xln who has nil emotions so if lyf butchers it then it'll be quite (very very very) pathetic.

though gyy is in her mid 20's, she does have a very youthful look to her depending on the make up. and she's beautiful...not to mention super cute.

yupz, what's done is done. The production is almost finished, not point of me "moping" but i was just wishing back then. I am just saying GYY had a better icy stare when she wants it. At times she can look kind and cute, goofy, etc

according some news 00 has accepted 3 movies include jackie chan's bb plan in the first half year 2006.
BB Plan should finish filiming before chinese new year,then 00 will join a movie directed by one of the china's sixth-generation directors or someone new

She really is moving a notch higher to doing high profile movies now, all thanks to QH..i like her better thn Zhang Ziyi, i think 00's a better actress, has more poise and not to mention, is tons more humble. Sigh, but i'll really miss her in tv series man, wish she'll do an wuxia series sometime soon.
