I personally prefer the goodboy innocent image too, but it'll be good for Jimmy to become more versatile in his acting skills. As for wigs, I think they meant he needed a wig for ancient series and now he doesn't!

He meant he didn't have to wear a wig as in ancient series. He hates those.

And as for the wigs in ancient series, i like how they're moving towards making it look more natural at least in the front. I know not every person who puts on a wig gets that look but i'm glad that they do make it look more realistic for Jimmy.

I actually thought about what those 2 chinese words meant. They literally mean 'overturning car'. I don't know if they mean something else in Taiwan. Does it mean flipping a car or just having an accident in general? I didn't know that Jimmy flipped a car twice this year. But he said "Overturning car is nothing special. He did that twice this year." So I don't know. I just translate it literally.

Absolutely, flipping cars is too dangerous a stunt to pull. The producer won't let him do that. What if he gets hurt and production has to stop. We will have to wait to see if there is a car flipping scene in the series and if there is a close up on Jimmy's face during the flip. Ha Ha Ha.

True, true. I can't imagine letting any actor do a stunt like that. If something happened, it would cause a major ruckus. Hmm, San Lap sounds like a crazy company that i wouldn't be completely, completely surprised if they want to turn rumor into fact by letting Jimmy do something like that just for promotional purposes. Good grief.

I suppose that's when they offiically announce the production, introduce the actors, etc. He can't share pics or info until then. I will be traveling around that time and don't know if I will have internet access. Someone else will have to check and post the news here. Thanks.

His father of course doesn't want his son to get involved with this woman from the wrong side of the tracks and tries to break them up. The rebellious son has a confrontation with the father and runs away from home. He goes to the countryside and become a mechanics to support himself.

San Lap news
12/26/2006

San Lap and Taiwan TV's first idol series of 2007 Fang Yang De Xing Xing press conference was held on 12/26. A team of 10 sports cars worth over TWD100M led Jimmy Lin, Liu He Na, Li Wei, and Hong Xiao Ling into the field. They wore jewelries worth over TWD10M. San Lap provided security guards for the event. The unprecedented press conference was comparable to that of a movie.

Fang Yang De Xing Xing has a romantic idol theme. It combines racing and modern jewelry into the storyline. The producer Chen Yu San said Fang Yang De Xing Xing is her best series so far, in terms of cast and procution. It exceeds her previous productions.

Fang Yang De Xing Xing is Jimmy's first modern series. He plays the 2nd master of the E. Shine Corporation. He is rebellious with outrageous behavior. Jimmy turned down Liao Zhai 2 to be in this production. He wants to try out modern series. He said, "When I first started out I was not too comfortable and talked like an ancient person."

Liu He Na flew to Taiwan 5 times to screen test for Fang Yang De Xing Xing. Chen Yu San said, "I saw her picture in a magazine. I found her outstanding and not like a novice."

Jimmy Lin and Liu He Na work well together in spite of the language barrier. She studed chinese for 5 months and can understand a little. Jimmy and she have an agreement that they will each learn 5 phrases of each other's language. Jimmy said that his Korean has improved tremendously. As for Liu He Na she surprised eveyone by reciting a chinese poem.

Li Wei's character is a movie star. Chen Yu San said that they will start working with him and will have a new series written for him next year. This is also Hong Xiao Ling's first working relationship with San Lap. She is also her first time playing a bad woman.
