I can imagine how it will be. It will be totally horrible and all of the Unbeatables fans will hate it and all the non-fans will hate it even more. Part 3 had already ruin the story enough, but Mediacorp does not just want to ruin the story, they want to completely destroy the story and wipe out any good memories we have of the first 2 shows. So they decided after considering for 2 minutes and the amount of advertising money they will receive when they air the show that they will do a fourth Unbeatables!!

Good thing I chose not to watch Unbeatables III based on the trailers. My memory of this series is still unblemished.

As far as I'm concerned, III was an aberration destined for the dustbins of time. It never happened.

Anyway, if Mediacorp wants another gambling serial, they should at least wait for the outcome of the decision on whether we will build a casino. If the casino is given the go ahead, Mediacorp could lower production costs by shooting the serial in a real casino before it opens its doors to the public. It will be a win win situation for the casino operators and Mediacorp. Free publicity for the casino and free props for Mediacorp.

Hah, I dont think mediacorp wants to wait that long to destroy our memories of the unbeatables. By the time the casinos are built in Singapore, that will probably aother 5 years in the future.

If mediacorp want to do another gambling serial, I am fine with it, but just dont make another sequel of Unbeatables. Surely they can come up with news characters and a brand new plot for a gamlbing show right?? Ugh....

beansprouts, i agree with you. New plot and new characters are great ideas. come on mediacorp, u cant expect medicaorp to survive on one gambling series for the rest of their lives? Time to move on and to make other gambling series.

Other than Allan Wu, i feel that the Unbeatables Part II and III is lame. They could have stopped at Part I, but they went on with those lame storylines. grr.. Damnation.

Wanted to post this earlier but somehow it slipped my mind.

Unbeatables 4 is reported to be in the works. There was an article in the papers on Monday about Li Nanxing. In it, it was mentioned that filming of Unbeatables 4 was put on hold after Zoe Tay's announcement of her pregnancy.

Oh well.

I wish they'd retelecast the first two parts at the prime timeslots, rather than those boring shows..

Unbeatables 4?! Com'on why can't they just put the stupid show to sleep. All the nonsense about a fake island named Coral, and senseless gambling on life, hands and eyes is just an insult to my intelligence.

BTW, S'pore wants to set up a stupid casino, so probably they needed some propaganda.

Part 2 is the best IMO.... the family relation of LNX, Zoe Tay & their little boy was quite touchin, Las Vegas scene was good

Part 3 is without doubt the WORST... anyone the aura of the show was lessened w/o the presence of the veteran characters like Long Tingguang, Yan Kun & Tsang Kong's characters... think they are very impt to e show

Replacements like Tay Ping Hui & Allan Wu makes me wan to puke only..

I like the 2nd part the most, and the story line is not bad. But the 3rd part is the worst. So I don't know if they still plan to do part 4. But I just love LNX & ZT pair up again if they do part 4.

Heh, that's the most memorable scene from Unbeatables for me as well. I like the first part the best, the second installment was alright, but some of the magic was lost already. As for the third installment, well I didn't bother to watch it at all, I saw clips of it here and then but it put me off like nothing.

CheungKafai, Allen and Tay Ping Hu weren't that bad! I quite enjoyed seeing them. Wouldn't have minded if Chew Chor Meng was in it either though
