Born in a military hospital in Qing Dao City (Bingbing's grandpa was a navy officer), Bingbing lived with her grandparents in Qing Dao till she was 5 yrs old then moved back to Yan Tai City where her parents worked, Bingbing is currently living in Beijing with her parents and her baby brother!

Bingbing to star in Yuan He Ping's "Great Wall"

According to a report from Star Daily on 07/11, Bingbing will star in movie "Great Wall." Invested by Bei Da Xing Guan, the movie is currently under preparation and will be directed by Yuan He Ping (yes, that famous kung fu director from lots of great action films). Zou Zhi Jing who met with a several scholars and historians recently will be in change of writing the script. Fan Bingbing and Liu Huan also attend the meeting, and the journalist had learned from the producer that both of them will participate in the making of this movie. Liu Huan, China's acclaimed musician will be in charge of the music and Fan Bingbing will take on a leading role in the movie.

according to Business Time on the same day, the producer is interested in Liu Huan to be in charge of the music creation and is actively seeking Fan Bingbing to star in this movie and to be costarred with Jet Li
