nope, bingbing had never been a career model, abut she has done lots modeling for her ads.

actually ... fans on her official website are pressing her to lose weight, ya see, bingbing likes to eat, (ohh, yes, she's a foodie) and she didn't pay much attention to her body weight which is not a smart thing to do because she takes up a lot a lot of ads, but finally, she has now recognized our effort of telling her to go on a diet, the only problem is that we haven't see a significant result yet, last time she posted on the forum on her website, she was telling us that she's so happy because she's eating her favorite food: BBQ lamb And you can imaging how pissed off some of her fans are, so our nagging continue ...

update on movie "ji sheng ren"

this is a shot of bingbing at work on the scene of movie Ji Sheng Ren! i've got to say, what a change, what a pleasant change!!! so far all i know about the movie is that bingbing's character is emotionally distrubed and terminally illed, and its director, he ping, a taiwanese director not quite well-known in china but is pretty well-known for making nice little art films in taiwan, one of his movies had received an international film award, but ... it seems like he is very low profile, almost shy from media spot light, there are very little news reports about the movie, but i think it's a good thing, i like to keep the best present to the last, bingbing doesn't need media attention, she has plenty already, let's hope this will be a breakthrough in bingbing's movie career!

yes, we all prefer bingbing in light makeup, she looks simply divine with just a sheer touch of makeup, smoky eyes look good on her too, but only on magazine shots, heavy eye makeup doesn't give her good impression as we'd learned ... unsophisticated people tend to judge a person simply on one's exterior, so makeup is a big issue, an unscientific but well-used conception on how one is being judged!

feng sheng bang is not out yet, i'm so desperate to watch it, i haven't watch a new series of bingbing's in almost a half yr, can't imagine how life is going to be now that bingbing has gradually reduced her tv works and focusing on doing more movies, a wish finally come true for us, but ... just a little bit hard to adjust

I watched FBB on Chao Ji Fang Wen (Super Interview) the other day. They talked to some of her friends in the entertainment circle (Ren Quan, Li Zong Han, Li Jie, etc.), her parents, and even kid brother. They all revealed that:

1) Her personality is that of a tomboy and most of her friends are guys.
2) She loves to look and be called "beautiful".
3) She loves to eat and is fortunate in that the fat/weight goes to her body, but never her face.
4) She is very hardworking and dedicated to her job (acting).

have anyone watch the series she with Chilam it is very touch don't miss it.

I saw a couple of episodes and even as a big fan of Julian's, I didn't find it that interesting. I guess it got better later on? I'm surprised it's not out on DVD yet.
