i find it quite good, suprisingly. i like it a lot more than the first one! the story is kinda "cheezy" but interesting...lol...so far at least...(up to ep 2)
can't wait to see the rest!

i haven't seen the part 2 yet but i have seen the first one and to me i like the first one the relationship between Race and chris is very interesting. i don't know what about the second one who is the the main lead.

Summary
Yip Ching (Yeo Vivien), Yip Kiu (Li Sze Yan) and Yip Yan (Chen Chi Yiu) are sisters. When they were young, they met a Gypsy girl (Yung Cho Yee, Joey) who foresaw that Ching would meet her true love, who has a four-leafed clover birthmark, when she turns eighteen. In the blink of an eye, the sisters have grown up and are now sixth-formers at the Greenwood International School. The beach volleyball team captain Yue Yat Sun (Szeto Shui Ki), a star student, is handsome and cheerful. Many girls join the team just for him.

The sisters see a four-leafed clover birthmark which matches the description given by the Gypsy girl on Sun from three different angles. However, Ching is indecisive and lacks confidence. Kiu and Yan are busy trying to set up chances for her to be with Sun. Remarkably, they also find the same birthmark on a bad student named Nic Fong (Choi Kay Chun)!

I'll be perfectly honest and admit that I detested this series since its making after horrible "Hearts of Fencing" and I even pointed out all the ridiculous teenybopper flaws in this series as I was watching it at first. But, surprisingly, I am really loving "Sunshine Heartbeat." It has surpassed "Hearts" by far and I don't know, it's just so good. Haha it's not the type of genre that I enjoy, but I'm liking it for some strange reason. It's very refreshing and so cute. I'm only up to episode 4 right now, but I'm hoping to watch eps 5 & 6 later today.

Although Vivien Yeo is said to be the "lead" she has so little lines. She has the title of "big sis" but lacks the screentime. However, I think she is so pretty and really cute with her shy personality. I love it when she's with Charles Szeto. They are really cute. It was sweet when he ate the cookie that she made for him, even though it had fallen on the ground and was covered with dog saliva. Hahaha. I also enjoyed that scenes of their first date.

I personally think Charles is more suited with Yip Kiu (second sis). They both have intense passion for volleyball while Vivien only joined the team because of Charles. Plus, Charles only noticed Vivien because he thought that she was a really good ball player. Vin Choi hasn't had that much screentime yet so I can't comment too much on his character and/or pairing with Vivien. I'm anxious to see how things will unfold and who is really Vivien's "destined lover."

Yip Yan (youngest sis) is so freaking cute! I love her. She is adorable and her scenes have so much energy and youth. Haha her facial expressions and lines are cute. Out of all the girls, I think she has the most screentime/lines.

The themesong, background music, and background songs are so good

Anyways, I honestly think this is a really really good series. It has an actual plot and is very interesting. Despite the cheesiness and some rather eccentric filming methods, I still like it. The cast sometimes overact and their acting is only passable, sometimes below, but I don't mind cause they're so cute Hahaha. Can't wait for more! This series has a lot of cute, sweet, funny, and interesting scenes. This a purely a teenage series but it's not as a "chick flick" as "Hearts of Fencing" was. Therefore I think "Sunshine" will be able to reach a wider audience and the plotline is more logical and interesting as well. Well at least it has turned me from a HOF-hater to simply adoring "Sunshine Heartbeat." Recommended if you're below 21 or enjoy teen dramas

well, i just finish watching tape 3...man waited hella long for it..but yeah..it was alrite..but it ended to quick...it left me hanging..can't wait to watch tape 4 tho..but i was good...but yeah, i was wonder who's going to end up with who???i reallie want vivien to be with vin(dat quiet and bad dude) they make a cute couple and i want charles and charmaine to end up together..dey fit more..but dat's mah guessing...but yeah..so wat do u guys think? whose going to end up with who???

I just finished episode 5 and thought it was really a sweet episode. It was pretty light-hearted and nothing really happened besides dating and thinking scenes.

I had suspected that Ah Kiu (second sis) liked Ah Sun (Charles) and the scene where she's looking at him playing volleyball through her cell phone camera verified by suspicion. No wonder she looked rather uncomfortable with Yip Yan (youngest sis) would talk to her about a plot to pair up Mia (Vivien) with Ah Sun. Hmmm... wonder how that will unfold.

I wonder if Ah Sun truly only likes Mia because in episode 4 they showed him watching Ah Kiu dancing and smiling. But when Mia confessed that the person he saw playing volleyball that day wasn't her but her sister, he says "I know" but he still likes Mia and even helped her to stay on the team.

Mia is a bit annoying with her indecisiveness and rather slow mind. But I guess that's what makes her character cute. Her sisters asked her "Would you like Ah Sun even if he didn't have the 4-leaf clover birthmark?" She said "I don't know." It's a bit strange that she would develop feelings for Fong Lik after one incident in which he hurts himself to save her. I wonder what "love" means to her. Is she going by her heart or by the words of the fortune teller that her true love has a 4-leaf clover? I think Fong Lik likes Mia because he watched her when she was practicing her ballet. He looked disappointed with Ah Sun showed up to pick up Mia and they walked hand-in-hand happily out.

I felt bad for Kit Jai (Charles's friend) because Ah Kiu was so uncomfortable during their "date." He tried to start conversations with her, but she just wasn't interested. I wonder if Yip Yan will pair up with that boy (who's always building something in the park). The guest appearances of Bobo Chan and Niki Chow were great in this episode. I loved the piano scene and beach scene with Ah Sun and Mia. The ending of episode 5 was hilarious.

Anyways, episode 5 was very cute and I can't wait to see episode 6.

in the beginning i was so confused cuz there were so many grls that looked alike. they were very similar in the way they dressed and everything. i dont think any of them can act well. at all. but i guess its cuz they're all new ppl. i especially hate the older sis. shes the worst one. i admit that most of the grls r pretty but sometimes their cuteness is way too fake.
hahha and dont u guys think they drag some scenes on for too long? like wen fong lik saved mia from the falling boxes. they stayed in the positions w. the song playing for at least 1 whole minute! lol n that wasnt the only scene. its jus stupid. sorry.

Despite all my negative comments. so far its really cute and sweet. ah sun is SO cutee. =) it'll surely make u think aww and smile.

Big sis (Vivien Yeo) didn't know Cantonese. She spent many months learning the language prior to starring in Sei Yip Cho II. Kudos to her for improving her Cantonese so well so quickly. I do agree, sometimes the cuteness is too fake that it becomes almost cheesy. But I don't know, I love watching them cause they're so young and refreshing

Yeah, there's a lot of flashbacks and silent moments. I think it's a filming technique to emphasis what Mia was feeling in that scene. She was shocked that he saved her and couldn't believe it. It was like time stopped for her and all she could do was look at him. In my opinion, that's what that long 1 minute pause represented. It's good they have great songs and background music or else I would have fast forward those flashbacks and silent/thinking scenes.

sorry..don't know where to find the theme song, but it is very good. this series, i must agree is very good!! the only thing that annoys me is how they make the character of the older sis (yip ching) so dumb, but i think she is pretty. I LOVE ah Nic. He's so cute and "ying"!! It's so sweet how he watches ah Ching dance ballet and how he saves her! and i think that ah ching really likes ah nic cuz she was so jealous when she saw him carrying another girl into a house. I can't wait until episode 9.
