New series Fringe

Anybody else watch the new series Fringe? JJ Abrams is involved with this series which combines the paranormal with extremely non-mainstream science and a bit of an X Files feel.
The cast includes:
Anna Tory, [Olivia], an oddly attractive actress from Australia who manages to cover her accent. She plays an FBI agent, who gets dragged into a special unit that investigate strange cases.
Joshua Jackson plays Peter Bishop a chronic underachiever who gets involved because of his father. His main facial expressions seem to be, stern or hard-done-by.
John Noble plays Dr. Walter Bishop, a genius scientist interested in ‘fringe science’ He’s very quirky since he has spent many years in a mental institute.
Lance Reddick, Olivia’s boss, Phillip Broyles who is quite tall, colored, and keeps his chin tucked in so that he has to raise his eyes to look at people!!
Jasika Nicole who plays Astrid, another FBI agent who is assigned to act as Dr. Bishop’s assistant and is hard-done-by.

The new season has kicked off with the two Olivias trapped in each others alternate universe. Will the producers avoid the deadly trap that has killed off many a series, by stringing out a story line to the point that the viewers get bored and tune out? Hope not.

Season ended tonight with a WTF moment! Where [when, or if he even exists] is Peter?
