SPCNET's first ever singing competition has, sadly, drawn to a close. I hope everyone who participated had fun and the voters certainly enjoyed listening to the entries.
In particular, congratulations and thank you to the finalists who submitted a final entry. You obviously have lots of e-fans by simply getting to the final! I don't think the scoreline in the background music division really reflects how close the three entries were for most people.
Of course, we all want to know who the winner is. If you haven't guessed yet, I suggest you take another look at the polls.
The winner is...
Sugar!
With her two songs, "Broken Vow" and "Xian Jian Wen Qing."
Congratulations darling!
Your voice is absolutely amazing and we all loved listening to your entries. As the winner of this competition, you will receive a $20 voucher for yesasia, sponsored by spcnet. I would offer you a contract deal... but obviously I don't have the assets for that

The a cappella division was EXTREMELY close with just ONE vote separating Sugar's "Broken Vow" and Mr Illusion's "I Believe."
Voting criteria was applied from the outset of this competition and maintained in this final round, thus "Broken Vow" came through with a higher number of votes after these votes were eliminated.

Thanks again to spcnet for sponsoring the competition. Also, thank you to NetDriftr for hosting the files on his server, making the entries much easier to access. I'm sure the other members are all extremely impressed by the professionalism in the reports you have created.
I hope you guys all had fun, and watch out for the duets that are coming up (I think there is one with Sugar and Mr Illusion ). If you missed the deadline, you can always record a song in the duets/groups exhibition. The next singing competition will be in just under 6 months time, so you can always prepare your entries super early.
