Or the opposite.
Example, as for me I don't like Titanic, even though maybe 90 % will say that it's the most romantic movie ever

There are many movies that I like and my friends don't like. And vice versa.
One of them is Star Wars, absolutely hated it even though my friends lost count of how many times they watched the original and the remake
The second one is "The English Patient", for the life of me, I can't understand why it won an Oscar.
If a man could be at two places at one time, I'll be with you
Tomorrow and today, beside you all the way
Titanic is a terrible movie. Here is a fairly accurate rendition of the movie's major themes in MSPaint/Flash.
The movie I don't like is American Pie 2. Actually...it wasn't so bad except for that Stifler character. And that Sherman guy getting Nadia in the end. Those two idiots made me want to go up to the TV and start punching the screen.
This sig is only temporary.
I can't stand Titanic, but I have friends who watched it 7 times
Another one that I can't stand is The Beach (it can't bring out the essence of the novel!!!), but people who watched it told me it's good.
Titanic was ok first time around (just like everything else). That flash movie was way funny, very accurate, and might rival the real movie LOL. American Pie 2 really sucked. The first one was funnier.
Most of the popular movies.
Example: the recent Matrix crap.

A lot of people don't like English Patient. I don't think I've met anyone who actually liked that movie.Originally posted by TKL

For me:
Gladiator, Mission Impossible, Armageddon (any typical american heroism), Waiting to exhale (or inhale..or whatever), Kate and Leopold (anything too girly and predictable), I can go on...yeah I am very particular when it comes to movies
I am going to hug you and love you and lock you in a cage
I agree about Matrix. my annoying roommate was are acting stupid and crap whenever the trailer came on tv (covering his ears and eyes, and turning away...afraid that it will spoil the damn movie. my god, get a life).Originally posted by TristeCoeur

I mean the Matrix was definitely and interesting movie, but too many ppl make a big deal out of it. not my thing.
Those evil harry potter movies - and i feel like they're going to churn another one soon with the release of the next book.
's harry potter
and 's J.K.Rowling's computer. 'May you never pollute the world with your filth again!'
(apologies to actually potter fans, this is just my rant against the bespecled one.)

One comes to mind: Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
Grifis
I enjoyed Waterworld, i dont know why ppl say its the worst movie ever.
I also enjoyed Bram Stroker's Dracula (except for Keanu's bad acting)
I so agree, i cant start to say how bad that movie was.Originally posted by Grifis

patience..............just be patient...........
CTHD sucks so much!!! I was irritated at how a whole bunch of teachers and students at my hs were like...ooh it's so cool and all that stuff. my reply...the story doesn't make sense, the acting was horrible, and the movie was boring for the most part. poetry my as*, it's way too westernized for me.
Hm... I disliked Titanic, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and Matrix:Reloaded too. xP
I didn't like Titanic, Spiderman, the Harry Potter movies (these may be good for kids but I don't understand how mature minds can enjoy them) and Fellowship of the Ring.
Titanic. I never watched it at all, not interested.
I love disaster movie(Dante's Peak, The Volcano, The Core, Deep Impact... and super hero (don't care the story line faithful with the book or not, simply entertaining). and also those light story such as the flick chic.. he,he,he,he.... oh, oh, oh,.. I love animation movie, but sadly no much of friend does... I have to go and watch it by myself.
I hate depressing mood movie and too much thinking (life is hard enuf, no need to add it with hard imagination )
Spring Summer Autumn Winter.
Pair ducks nest fly together.
Clemencies. Summer life, feather winter white.
Green meadow in spring, before the autumn bite.
Watching the red gown.
And none else, alone.
Let me add to my previous list.
Can't stand:
Matrix
Harry Potter
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (piece of trash)
Any Tom Cruise movie
Any Jackie Chan movie
Have you see Rain Man? he's playing quite good with Dustin Hoffman... or Top Gun. Not because of the look ( I dispise him ) but because of the character he brought... but that's my opinion.Originally posted by junny

I saw Rain Man. I was watching Dustin Hoffman. Thank god for that man.
titantic was a decent film... I enjoyed it... I think it was hyped a lot too.
get ready for this.
i don't really like Matrix
Why you may ask... I think it was kind of stupid, the story was bascially copied from other sci fi stories, the action wasn't really great just slow motion, no hot girls (at least you don't get to see skin on the one that is suppostly hot), the main charactor kind of sucks...) Red pill, blue pill whatever... and so on
Flame on I am gone...
