I am going to attempt to translate ROCH. I would like to put emphasis on the word attempt There are uncompleted translations of LOCH and HSDS so I thought I might as well add ROCH to the list. Only joking, I'm just doing this to try to improve my chinese as I would class myself semi literate in chinese This may not be the best wuxia novel ever but it was the 1983 adaption which introduced me to wuxia so I guess it can't be bad.
Before I post the first parts of chapter one, I'm gonna make some disclaimers. The ROCH I'm translating is from qiqi.com so I don't know which edition it is.
Questionmarks in brackets are parts of the translation which I'm not too sure about and maybe I'll give it more thought later, not everyone's chinese is as good as Meh, Athena, Tigerwong etc.
If I've made any major booboos in my translation please let me know and provide the correct translation
The names are in mandarin ping ying, I couldn't be bothered to change it to cantonese.
Some translations have both english and ping ying if I think the english translation sounds kinda weird.
Please forgive the poorly translated first few paragraphs as I was just getting into the swing of things.
Also forgot to add, credit to Jin Yong, Mr Louis Cha for writing this novel.
Hope its enjoyable.
