Have a look at b4c25. this is the exact same thing he did vs Xiang Yang, but this time on a much larger scale (and vs a stronger opponent). He says that all he needs to do to recover is to rest and practice. I'm not sure if thats all he did, but thats what he said to Qin De.

I'm assuming he could easily eat a pill to restore his lost power, as well. Especially now, considering he has Treasure Palace, so he can make various top-class pills if he wanted to.

I'm under the impression that refining jindans and yuanyings are solely for the purpose of becoming stronger (i.e. levelling up so to speak).

it's definitely more powerful.. if lei wei defeated da cheng stage expert.. but it's still not in the level of immortal so if azure dragon say uncle lan is level six loose immortal he should be at least 3 level stronger than lei wei

On a side note, how strong is Hei Yu - what level is he at? I know that Fei Fei is at the late Yuanying stage (and he will probably be at the early dongxu stage 3 years later), but we haven't seen Hei Yu in action. I want to know what kind of beast he is... surely Uncle Lan knows (~*.*)~

If you hate spoilers, I think you should finish this novel first, because if I am correct the prequel tells the story of a character that will appeared very late in this novel.
