Doesn't XLN look too young for YG? She is supposed to be like 8 years older than him and yet she looks like she is 8 years younger. I think GYY would make a better XLN and Alec Su as YG. LOL

It's so exciting how everyone's waiting for this series to air. Hopefully, it will be worthwhile to watch. I'll try to stay away from the LYF being young and all for the role of XLN, but I have to say that she looks beautiful with or without makeup. As for HXM, he'll be just as good as Louis and/or Andy.

I would love to see any new music videos or even the real theme/trailer from this series. But I doubt anybody will have that now. Instead, I have tons of pictures of HXM & LYF and other cast members during the series and behind the scenes. It would be great if someone could tell me how I can upload it, if anybody wants to see them.

GYY might make a good XLN but I don't know about Alec Su. I thought about Alec Su being the next YG a long time ago when I finished watching Legend of Condor Hero/Arching Hero. However, HXM makes a better YG since he's taller. The past Yang Guo...most of them are much taller than Alec. Plus, he has that pretty boy look. I heard Hu Ge audition for YG too but lost it to HXM. Hu Ge has that pretty boy look too. I'm glad they chose HXM. He'll do a good job too.

Actually, a young boy is going to play as the young Yang Guo. If you check out the previous pages you'll see the young yang guo.

Come to think of it, I agree with you. Alec doesn't seem like a good choice . I was thinking of GJ instead of YG. Alec's face and style fits the charateristic of a young GJ.

I just downloaded a few episodes of ROCH 2003 (Mainland/Taiwanese?) thinking it will be the LYF version but its not. Can anyone tell me the name of the YG and XLN in here, because I don't reconize them. Most of the series I watch are HK series so I'm not too familiar with Mainland/Taiwanese actors. From the theme song, the XLN in here is very pretty but I havent seen her apeared yet.

I have seen the 83 and 95 version of ROCH, and IMO the 83 version is by far the best; however I feel Carman has the best charateristics of a XLN. Idy gave the best performance. Eventhough I don't feel LYF has the characteristics of a good XLN, I'm willing to give her a chance, so I can't wait to see this new adaptation. Anyone here know a date in which this will be released?

yes, there's a young boy playing Yang Guo in the beginning. HXM is definitely too old to play a 14-year old but a 20 year old Yang Guo, he can pass off.

I didn't watch the 2003 version. Is Richie Ren in this series? If it is that version, then that version is a joke. Richie Ren looks like a comedian more than an actor.
