Hmmmm.... Xiao Hei + Qin Yu Vs. 5 Guardian .... Assuming there will be a fight ....
I'm sure Xiao Hei is considerably stronger than when he fought cha po. While these guardians are weaker than Cha Po in his original form and may not have high grade holy weapon. Even 3 years ago Xiao Hei seems very confident to be able to kill Sang Mo in 1 on 1. Now he must be even stronger.
Qin Yu hasn't go all out when he exchanged attack against Ran Lan. But so does Ran Lan. Still I thought Qin Yu is at the same level with Bai Yin.
So Xiao Hei or Qin Yu is equal to Bai yin. The other 4 vs. one of them? Well, Sang Mo is definitely bellow Cha Ge. Still it is a tough fight. Unless they can eliminate one or two of them in a surprise attack. But there is one more thing. Zhuang Zhong seems to have his own plan. So this is a wild card. I tend to think it will benefits Xiao Hei and Qin Yu.

But looks like we are about to see the limit of yuanying absorption that He-Man mentioned (5 yuanyings!) Is it the limit of energy they can absorb while they are still at jindan stage?

If that's happen, than the 3 of them, Qin Yu, Xiao Hei, and Hou Fei, are not too far away in term of fighting ability against the rest of Cha Hong's remaining subordinates. Although Cha Hong himself is still a huge threat. (But we don't know anything about Hou Fei's berserk mode)

Another possibility is fight-and-run. I don't think any of the five can match Xiao Hei in term of speed. Qin Yu can kill the one that lag behind each time.

I don't think this will be a problem because once Qinyu is at same power level as theirs, fighting many expert at once will be no problem. Remember when he at Xiantian stage, he is peak xiantian and can deal with other 4 peak xiantian easily.

I just wannna to ask, is Dacheng is a stage? Because it seems the Xiuzhenist undergo 9-9th Heavely Tribulation at Dujie (middle). So is Dacheng is just the same as Shangxian, which actually not a stage per say but a level that going to be broken down like Jindan-Yuanying-Dongxu thingy.

As the 5 guardians keep going, the distance between them and the black eagle grows shorter and shorter. The 4 in Bai Yin’s group can only estimate this distance based on messages sent by the green-eyed fish clan. They are simply unable to know exactly what it is.

But Qin Yu can feel Xiao Hei’s location clearly.

“My holy sense has a longer range than theirs. Now I can only rely on it to tell Xiao Hei in advance.” Qin Yu expands his holy sense. You can call Dacheng either a stage or a level. As far as I can see, there are basically no differences in meaning between them.

thx he-man. Btw i think bai yin is a lobster coz shrimp doesnt have claws

this chapter confirm 3 of my suspicions:
1) soul have level and it is related but not dependant on the(elemental?) power stage
2) uncle lan and that girl might have something to do with meteoric tears. (she can heal fatal injuries like nothing and meteoric tears energy comes out more when it was in their place, maybe got formation or something to increase its effect).
3) xiao hei got shit load of secret technique from his memories ^ ^


btw i feel kind of frustrated that qin yu havent pursue these 2 course of action as he dont need to practice coz his dantian make his practice run on auto.
1)researching how to attack with the soul. i mean someone offend u suddenly he died without people knowing why. surely ppl would think its godlike power.
2) learn more about formation. if he can put a formation on weapon cant he make a combination of attack formation and make the weapon maybe even 10x more powerful?. or put it on armor like the seal that cha hong tried to break surely theres a defensive 1 with more power. wouldnt he be invinsible then?

Was just reading some older chapters and was reminded of the Immense Wilderness. The Xiuyaoists are supposed to be the most powerful of all, but even on the fringe of the Wilderness Qin Yu already encountered two Yuanying divine beasts randomly, who would still be considered extremely powerful in the ocean.

Going deeper should only reveal much, much stronger divine beasts. Shouldn't they be considered the most powerful "area" in the known places?

My theory is that the ravine is a spiritual place. Uncle Lan I have a suspicion is an ascended Xiuzhenist. We know that Xiuzhenists who have ascended still appear and influence the Xiuzhen world by some extent. Evidenced by one of the 9 Swords that Cha Hong currently has. He has stated that the "simplest" seal to prevent dust was created by an immortal. And that even with his power , an early Dongxu, it has taken him over 100 years to break it and still hasnt!

EDIT: And oh, forgot why I said it was a spiritual place, because it appears the Meteor Tear is a spiritual object and when it is in a spiritual place, it gets stronger. I guess, its similar to how the Wilderness has a higher level of holy energy.

“You can call me Uncle Lan. Right, I’m indeed a human. Well … you can think of me as a Xiuxianist.” Uncle Lan says with a relaxed smile.

Here Uncle Lan states he is a human. And think of him as a Xiuxianist. Which means he is not a Xiuxianist. Logically speaking then? Well, I theorise he is an ascended Xiuzhenist who for some reason came down back down to the Xiuzhen world.
Maybe and this is a logical BUT grand theory. He is the equivalent of what Fengyuzi and the other Shangxian are to the Qianlong continent. Meaning, while he "ascended" to a higher realm, he was not well suited for it and came back down where his power is higher than anyone else. From the eyes of Xiuzhenist, those who achieve ascendancy are supreme. Just like how ordinary people and experts on the Qianlong continent view Shangxian.
EDIT: building on this theory, maybe the Meteor Tear is a higher realm artifact that somehow fell from the realm and found by Qin Yu.
