i cried a river in this drama...vic zhou in this drama showed how much he grew from being a mere neophyte talent into a real awesome actor...Park Eun Hye is also a good korean actress..they have a good chemistry together...very heart warming! you'll fall in love in their love story...i love zaizai here all the more...

OMG this was the sweetest series i've ever watched in my entire life! While watching this i thought that i was in the film through it ! :) i wanna watch it again...but i cant find a way to download :(

i love the series, i got hooked to it that even i finished watching it the story and the songs are still in me... vic zhu did another good job in here, i think there were no other actor can do it aside from him...

how you sacrifice and how you can show your love really makes you crazy but realizing that as long as it can make your love one happy even it will hurt you that much i think its better to do it...

even if it has a sad ending (there are lots of heart stopping moments in last episode!!) still it manage to show how life should go on even if you lose someone...

there are lots of memorable scenes (i think all of them)... one of my favorite... highly recommended...

I just started to watch it last night, and bcoz of all the reviews and comments written here, I even want to finish it right away! ha ha ha. Maybe additional comment after I finished it.

I just wonder why Megan Lai is always on Vic Zhou's series (Meteor Garden, Mars, Silence, Sweet Relationship, and one episode in Wish to See you Again) anyone knows?

ohh - i hate the ending... i hate unhappy ending.. but because of this drama, i purposely watch "Wish to see you again" starring Vic Zhao and at least in that drama, its a happy ending :)

i agree with minixme. it dragged a little bit towards the end but overall it was a sad movie. vic zhou was amazing in this movie.

i really love vic zhou!!! silence is very good!!! it has been aired in qtv channel here in the philippines but i'm afraid that they might cut it even if it's not yet finish.like what they've done to "mars" another tv series of vic zhou.i was not able to finish it because they have cut it already. i think silence should be seen by all Filipinos because it's such an inspiring story!

The movie can arouse a lot of emotion; hate, anger, love, the wanting and loneliness are all there. Aside from the depression you surely experienced after watching the last scene. I like the way they show the different forms of showing love from different persons. The music was so good; it really added a plus factor to the movie. It was so nice, I remember how I hate movies with a heart breaking ending but this movie makes a difference, it makes my chest ache the same way that I watched the movie “The Notebook” and “A Walk to Remember””.

dis series s so depressing,.I had a hard time coping with my emotions after watching the series,.,there are a lot of scenes that i could'nt forget,.it was great.,
Vic Zhou and Park Eun-Hye are both good in acting and they matched perfectly,.,
The songs are all great and touching,.,
You should watch the whole series and you will not regret.,.=)

I have watch this series and also have brought this series for my collection.Really enjoy see this series which make me cry a lot especially when Wei Yi died and left Shen Shen .The songs in this series also very good and touching.Love it very much.Vic Chou's acting skill is getting great. Really can feels all his emotion (happy,sad,pain etc) in this series.Vic,good jobs!!!!!

I think the story line was ok but it dragged a little towards the end. the beginning was good tho. you should watch it if u like it like that but it lasted too long.

I am writing In reference to lord_jedi2's comments. For the record, I do watch a lot of korean dramas. And I did watch "Sorry, I love you" which touched me deeply and left me depressed for days. While I agree that "Silence" was not nearly as heartbreaking, and Vic is not nearly as good an actor as So Ji Sup, I did not review "Silence" with "Sorry, I love you" as the yardstick. They are entirely different dramas. If the two had shared any overt similiarities, I would have made the comparison (as I did in reviewing "A Love to Kill"). "Silence" was excellent in its own right, and so too was Vic Zhou.

Honestly, I have to admit that this drama is not what you all claim to be. It try to follow korean drama type of story telling, but failed miserably. I don't know how come you all love this drama so much. The acting is bad, the storyline failed at times, it's not heartbreaking or sad, and plus it just doesn't work for me. My advice to you all is try to watch more korean drama to really understand what i mean. Try to watch Sorry, I Love you, Green Rose or Snow Queen. Silence is no where compared to them especially in the acting part. Try to compare So Ji Sup actig when he suffered from severe pain to Vic Zhou acting in this drama. The difference is just to big. The only thing that I like abt this drama is the girl who play Shen Shen. Suprising, She is from Korea. Taiwanese director is just not capable of making tear-jerker drama like the koreans. And the story is just doesn't make sense in some part. If you learn medicine, you will know it. Vic Zhou's cancer doesn't make sense. Ask a doctor if you don't believe me. Sad to say, I will only give this drama 2.5 star... And it is not addictive at all. I skip several episode that it still not interesting... It just doesn't work for me. Sorry if you all disagree with me. But believe me, try to watch more korean dramas and you all will DEFINATELY agree with me...

I don't remmenber how many times I cried while watching this drama... The only thing that somewhat ruined the atmosphere was the constant flashbacks. If they would have removed them, the series would have been at least an hour shorter. Besides that, the acting was realy good, especially Vic's perofrmance. He was amazing (except for when he cried) and pratically carried the whole drama. To sum things up, this drama vas realy good and so moving..

This drama was SO cute! I love vic's character, and eun hye was awesome, too. the drama was a bit unrealistic... cause I thought that it was weird that two people could be so much in love just because of one week of fun together as kids. but I guess they touched each other's heart with all that alien/mars stuff. and yes, the one thing that was annoying beyond anything was the constant flashbacks. WAY TOO MANY. it's not like we all have memory disorders, we CAN REMEMBER stuff that happened 2 episodes ago. but other than that, this drama was just so cute. And it portrayed love really well, how you shouldn't marry someone who you're only grateful for, but the one that you truly love.

X) VIC is a hands0me and co0l her0 !! while PARK EUN is a nice and cute girl !! this two people are so match !! the st0ry was awesome !! so romantic and full of love.g0sh..at first i watch this movie,i thought that this movie is so boring..but..in the end,i l0ve it !! although i just watch 7 times this week but.. i like it ! i cannot wait for the next episode ! l0ve silencE !! shhhh.... =)

i thought this drama was pretty good... i just didnt seem to like the character Zhuo Jun or Mi Xiao Guang much because they seemed like the obstructions of pure love... but overall this was a pretty fulfilling drama that made me bawl my eyes out :D

I havent finished this series yet but I've got to say, I'm loving it. By far this is Vic's best serie so far. And to be honest, I really dont mind him playing the silent cool type of characters all the time lol. Park Eun-hye has a fantastic list of expressions, which goes to show her talents as an actress. Even I who is Chinese illiterate can understand most of what she says. I sympathesis with Andy Hui's character to an extend but I just couldnt help wanting to strangle him ever time he comes on screen. Especially when he decided he wants to feel the impact of a tonne of metal hitting him at the speed of 20km/hr. Hasnt anyone told him 'If you love someone, you'll let them be happy?'. All in all I would definitely recommend this serie to anyone that loves a romantic drama. I'm 5 episodes away from the end but it's been really good, at least, up to where I am lol.

Vic Zhou & Park Eun Hye is really good in this drama. I love watching them.... very good acting...
I don't like the ending though, it is too fast and cramped into 1 episode... After all the good storyline in the beginning, the ending doesn't do any justice to the show..
